Cinderella Project

The South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division's Cinderella Project has been making dreams come true for more than two decades, and we're excited to be back in 2025!

Once a year, our lawyers trade in their power suits to wave the magic wand and play fairy godmother to students in need of that perfect prom outfit. Cinderella Project boutiques are also a great way for young people to get to know South Carolina lawyers in a fun, low-stress environment - maybe a future judge is picking out their perfect look at one of our boutiques! Strengthening the pipeline into the legal profession begins long before law school, and reaching students of all backgrounds is fundamental to sustaining access to justice.

Cinderella Project Through the Years

People have their perceived notion of lawyers, and part of our responsibility as lawyers is to educate the community about the law and bring confidence in it. This is an event where you can come in and ask the lawyers questions in a more relaxed setting if you want to. Who knows - in 10 or 15 years a student coming through the Cinderella Project could be the judge you're practicing your case in front of!
