Employment and Labor Law Section

Section serves as a forum for all segments of the employment bar to review and comment on regulatory policy and procedure as well as legislative initiatives. Committees include: Equal Employment Opportunity Committee; Education Committee; Labor Management and Relations Committee; Specialization Committee; Membership Committee; and Occupational Safety/Health Committee. 

Bar Convention
The Employment & Labor Law Section is offering two complimentary full registrations (valued at $395 each) to the Bar Convention January 21-24, 2010 at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Please note that hotel accommodations and ticketed events are not included. To qualify, you must be a member of the S.C. Bar Employment & Labor Law Section in good standing. If you are interested and plan to attend the Bar Convention, please submit your name, address, phone number and e-mail address to Tara Smith, S.C. Bar, P.O. Box 608, Columbia, SC 29202 or tsmith@scbar.org no later than October 9. The drawing will take place at the NC/SC Employment & Labor Law Conference (details above).
