About the Seminar
Security breach notification and other stringent security regulation is becoming law in South Carolina , and it will change the way organizations control information and respond to incidents here as it has in other states. The difference is that - because SC is among the last states to enact such legislation - we now have many years of experience of how to best manage data breaches, and know all too well not only what has worked best but what has gone dreadfully wrong.  Jon Neiditz has more experience in dealing with security breaches across the country and internationally than any attorney in the Southeast.  He will offer guidance for dealing with the many conflicting laws and standards in this area, and also a practical process for managing a data breach that will be of particular value to attorneys and managers focused on operations, finance, risk management, information technology, security and legal and compliance issues.
