The iCivics Committee Needs You - Statewide (Volunteers Needed)

Are you interested in speaking to elementary school children about the separation of powers, the importance of democracy, or individual rights? The 3rd Annual iCivics Day will be held across the ENTIRE state on Monday, May 19, 2014.  If you know of a fourth or fifth grade class that may be interested in participating, please email with the information about the teacher so that the committee may reach out to that class.  In our first week of accepting registrations, we already have about 20 schools signed up—in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, and Rock Hill.  So we need your help! If you would like to volunteer, please click on the link below to sign-up.

If you would like to participate, there will be a training session at the SC Bar Conference Center on Taylor Street in Columbia on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 12-1 pm.  Lunch will be provided.  For those who live too far to attend, the training will be provided via webcast.  The webcast may be found by going to
