This Institute is like the two-day Project Citizen training, but will be a week long Institute with national scholars and mentors offering a more extensive look at public policy and hands on opportunities.
The Institute will be hosted by the S.C. Bar Law Related Education Division and Strom Thurmond Public Policy Institute housed at Clemson University at no charge to attendees, as it will be funded by a grant through the Center for Civic Education. In addition, lodging is free, most meals will be provided, mileage reimbursement will be available and a free set of classroom materials will be provided.
