Street Law is a practical participatory education about law, democracy and human rights. Through its philosphy and programs, Street Law empowers people to transform democratic ideals into citizen action with each student gaining lessons that can be used for life. Street Law, along with its comprehensive set of instructional supplements, is used in high school classrooms throughout South Carolina, and is on the adopted textbook list. A hands-on opportunity will be provided with the text in addition to a technology component to include working with the Street Law Web site.
