Bob Baldwin and John von Lehe will again concentrate their four-hour talk on recent changes in the South Carolina tax and economic incentives laws and current issues that affect state and local tax planning and compliance. This intermediate to advanced level seminar is designed for tax and estate planning attorneys, as well as CPAs, and will cover: (1) state income (individual and corporate) and an analysis of the "pass through business" tax rate reduction legislation, (2) Sales tax including the new "data processing exemption" and the current state of sales/use tax on medicines and prosthetic devices (3) Property taxes and Fee In Lieu of Property Taxes with an update on Assessable Transfer (Point of sale) legislation (4) Business License taxes and procedure (5) Economic Tax Incentives including changes to the various tax credits offered in S.C.
