Patrick Hubbard and Professor Robert L. Felix with 2012 Supplement by John S. Nichols and E. Scott Moise \nSouth Carolina Law of Torts has been the standard torts reference for the South Carolina Bench and Bar First since 1990. The Fourth Edition (©2011) has been substantially revised by Professors Hubbard and Felix and contains not only recent changes in the law, but also new textual analysis to provide a more extensive and up-to-date reference. The Fourth Edition is comprehensive in scope, covering everything from policies behind tort law to causes of action, defenses, damages and the allocation of liability. It is meticulously researched, thoroughly cross-referenced, heavily annotated, and logically organized. The Fourth Edition includes research current through June 30, 2011.\nThe 2012 Supplement by John S. Nichols and E. Scott Moise includes research current through the end of August 2012. Material from 26 opinions from the Supreme Court of South Carolina and the South Carolina Ct of Appeals, along with one case from the Fourth Circuit has been incorporated. Attendees of the 2013 South Carolina Tort Law Update will receive a copy of the 2012 Supplement as part of the course materials.\n \n\n
